Graeme Finkelstein

Rabbi Graeme Finkelstein matriculated in Durban
at Carmel College in 1983. He proceeded to study under Rabbi
AZ Goldfein at the Yeshiva Gedolah of Johannesburg. He received
Smicha from the Johannesburg Beit Din and Chief Rabbi as well
as from Rabbi Goldfein in 1991.
Rabbi Finkelstein was the assistant Rabbi to
Rabbi David Lapin 1992-1995, during which time he councelled
and gave Shiurim at Beit Medrash Keter Torah.
Rabbi Finkelstein is a senior councelor at Nechamah
(Jewish bereavement) and is on their management committee.
He is teaching at present and is the director
of Jews for Judaism in Johannesburg
Graeme is married to Shana and they have a
son Avi and two daughters, Na'ama and Shira.
